What will we cover?
During most of Year 11, lessons focus predominantly on Paper 2 content, building the knowledge students need as they move through the course. As exams approach, the timetable shifts to focus on the next exam coming up, so revision is targeted where it matters most.
Looking to catch up or revisit Paper 1? Take a look at the Year 10 timetable too. Those lessons work through key Paper 1 topics and plenty of Year 11 students join them to fill gaps, revisit earlier content or strengthen weaker areas.
Students don't have to stick to one year group. Choose the lesson that covers what they need.

Frequently asked questions
What platform are the lessons taught on?
Lessons are taught online using Zoom Webinar. When you book, you'll also get access to your mdLEARNING online library, where you'll find your lesson, resources and recording afterwards.
Does my student need their camera on?
No. Cameras and microphones stay off, so there's no pressure to appear or speak on screen. Students can take part and ask questions using the chat.
Are the lessons for Combined or Triple/Separate Science?
Both. Most lessons are suitable for AQA Combined Science and Triple/Separate Science students. Where a lesson is suitable for ONLY Single Science (Triple) students, this will always be clearly marked.
Are the lessons Higher or Foundation tier?
Most lessons are designed for Higher tier GCSE students unless otherwise stated. I also run occasional lessons specifically for Foundation tier students, so keep an eye out for these.
What if they can't make the lesson live?
No problem. Every lesson is recorded, so they can watch it afterwards. The recording and lesson resources stay in their online library until the end of the academic year.
How do we access the recording and resources?
Everything is kept together in your mdLEARNING online library. Log into the same account used to purchase the lesson and you'll find the recording and resources there.
Can I just book one lesson?
Absolutely. Individual lessons are £35, with no commitment to book another.
What if we want to come every week?
The Year 11 Membership is £49/month and includes every Year 11 live lesson during term time, notes and resources, recordings, plus access to previous Year 11 lesson recordings from the current academic year.
Can I cancel the membership?
Yes. Membership is monthly and you can cancel anytime. You'll continue to have membership access until the end of your current paid billing period.
Can I join a lesson if I'm not in that year group?
Absolutely. The Year 10 and Year 11 labels are there as a guide, not a restriction.
As a rough rule, schools tend to cover more Paper 1 content earlier in the GCSE course and move towards Paper 2 content later on, so I've organised the lesson programme around that pattern.
But schools teach topics in different orders, and students have different gaps. What really matters is the topic being taught, not the year-group label.
So if a Year 11 student wants to revisit a Paper 1 topic being taught in a Year 10 lesson, they're very welcome to join. In fact, lots of Year 11 students attend both to catch up, fill gaps or strengthen earlier knowledge.
