Each week, students receive a downloadable pack of GCSE-style exam questions. They are encouraged to attempt the questions independently before beginning the recording, even if they are unsure where to start.
They then work through an approximately 45-minute recorded walkthrough with me. For every question, I explain:
• what the question is really asking
• which scientific knowledge is relevant
• how to structure the answer clearly
• where each mark is gained
• the common mistakes to avoid
Students correct and improve their own work as they watch. Afterwards, they can download my completed annotations and model answers to keep, print or use to amend their original responses.

Yes. Exam Practice is suitable for GCSE students in both Year 10 and Year 11.
The topic matters more than the year group because schools teach the GCSE Science content in different orders. The subject and topic covered each week will always be shown clearly before purchase.
Yes. The sessions are suitable for students studying AQA Combined Science and AQA Separate Sciences.
Many of the fundamental Biology, Chemistry and Physics topics are studied by both Combined and Separate Science students. If a session contains content intended specifically for Separate Science students, this will be clearly stated.
The sessions are generally written with Higher Tier expectations in mind, although much of the content and exam technique is also valuable for Foundation Tier students, especially those aiming for grade 5.
The questions and teaching are based on the AQA GCSE Science specification.
Students following another exam board may still benefit from the science knowledge and exam technique, but the content has not been mapped specifically to their specification.
