Energy 1: Energy Stores & Transfers
Energy 1: Energy Stores & Transfers
A focused, teacher-led GCSE Science lesson covering energy stores and energy transfers. Students will develop their understanding of the eight energy stores, the four pathways by which energy is transferred, systems and conservation of energy, and useful and dissipated energy, with a strong focus on using precise language to describe energy changes in exam questions.
Students are taught a simple WHERE → HOW → WHERE approach to help them identify where energy is stored, how it is transferred and where it ends up, before applying this to a range of GCSE exam-style situations.
This is a single recorded online lesson for GCSE Science students studying AQA Higher Tier, suitable for both Combined Science and Triple/Separate Physics.
