Homeostasis and Response 2: Hormonal Control and Blood Glucose

A focused, teacher-led GCSE Science lesson covering the endocrine system, hormonal coordination, blood glucose control, insulin and glucagon, Type 1 and Type 2 diabetes, adrenaline, thyroxine and negative feedback.

Students will build their understanding of how hormones coordinate responses and maintain internal conditions through clear explanations, annotated diagrams, interpreting graphs and exam-style questions.

This is a single live online lesson for GCSE Science students studying AQA Higher Tier, suitable for both Combined Science and Triple/Separate Biology.

The lesson is taught live on Zoom Webinar. Cameras and microphones are off, so there's no pressure to be on screen, but students can use the chat throughout to answer questions, ask for help and get involved.
